How my symptoms showed up

  • POTS: heart rate felt jumpy rather than low, with that uncomfortable internal buzz you get when you’re under-fueled but overstimulated

  • Migraine: faint nausea and smell sensitivity, no head pain yet but a clear warning phase

  • Lupus: not pain-heavy, but that washed-out fatigue where everything feels harder than it should

POTS

Helpful

Salt + hydration without heaviness

Lupus

Safe

Light, non-inflammatory

Vestibular migraine

Cautious but okay

Mint and melon tolerated pre-pain

Ingredients (1 serving)

  • Ripe melon (cantaloupe or similar), sliced into wedges

  • Thinly sliced prosciutto

  • Fresh mint leaves

  • Optional: olive oil or black pepper

How I made it

  1. Prep the melon

Slice melon into firm wedges, removing seeds and rind. Keep chilled until assembling.

  2. Wrap

Gently wrap each wedge with prosciutto, not too tightly - it should drape, not constrict.

  3. Add mint

Tuck a few fresh mint leaves between the melon and prosciutto so the aroma stays subtle.

  4. Finish

Arrange on a plate. Add a light drizzle of olive oil or a crack of black pepper if tolerated.
