Symptom check-in
POTS:Low appetite and mild morning lightheadedness - needed hydration, natural sugars, and gentle protein without heaviness
Vestibular migraine:Subtle head pressure and visual sensitivity - avoiding citrus, sharp acidity, and strong spices; soft fruit and creamy textures felt safest
Lupus:General fatigue and low-grade joint achiness - wanted anti-inflammatory foods that were cooling and easy to digest
Disorder safety check
Condition | Works? | Why |
POTS | Cautiously | Hydrating fruit + carbs help, but low salt |
Lupus | Yes | Anti-inflammatory fats, no cooking stress |
Vestibular migraine | Mostly | Mild sweetness, no acid, soft textures |
For POTS days with more dizziness, add a salted side or pair with eggs.
Ingredients (2 papaya halves)
1 ripe papaya, halved and seeds removed
⅓–½ cup plain yogurt (Greek or regular)
¼ cup blueberries
1–2 tbsp hemp seeds
1–2 tbsp tahini
Optional: goji berries or chia seeds
How to make it (step-by-step, very clear)
1. Prepare the papaya
Slice papaya lengthwise.
Scoop out all seeds and discard.
Place halves cut-side up on a plate.
2. Add the yogurt
Spoon yogurt evenly into the center cavity of each papaya half.
Spread gently so it fills most of the hollow without overflowing.
3. Add fruit and seeds
Scatter blueberries over the yogurt.
Sprinkle hemp seeds evenly on top.
Add goji berries or chia seeds if using.
4. Drizzle tahini
Use a spoon to drizzle tahini lightly over each papaya half.
Keep the drizzle thin - too much can feel heavy.
5. Serve immediately
Best eaten at room temperature.
Avoid chilling if cold foods worsen dizziness.
Notes for symptom days
For POTS: pair with salted toast, eggs, or electrolyte water.
For vestibular migraine: skip goji berries if sensitive to dried fruit.
For lupus: this works best earlier in the day when digestion is easier.
