Disorder impact

Disorder

Helpful / Neutral / Risk

Rationale

POTS

Helpful

Warm, salty broth supports blood volume and is easier than forcing fluids.

Lupus

Neutral-to-supportive

Gentle on joints and digestion; warmth helped stiffness without adding inflammatory stress.

Vestibular migraine

Generally safe

Soft textures, mild flavors, no common triggers for me on sensitive days.

What this is

Pillowy gnocchi floating in rich bone broth, with a little broccoli on the side so it still feels like a meal. It’s not exciting. It’s comforting. It doesn’t ask your nervous system to process anything complicated.

This is quiet food.

How I made it

  1. Warm bone broth slowly on the stove.

  2. Cook gnocchi separately and add to the broth.

  3. Steam broccoli and add on the side or mix in.

  4. Season lightly and eat while seated.

Why this worked today

  • Warm liquid without heaviness

  • Salt without another electrolyte drink

  • Soft texture when chewing felt tiring

  • Didn’t make my heart race afterward
