Symptom check-in
POTS: I had dizziness every time I stood up today and my heart rate jumped fast - I wanted something salty and high-protein today, and deli turkey plus cottage cheese did the job.
Vestibular migraine: I had no vestibular migraine symptoms today - no vertigo, no nausea, and no light sensitivity.
Lupus: I had no rash, no body aches, no fever, and no nausea from my anti-rejection meds today.
Disorder safety check
Condition | Works? | Why |
POTS | Yes | Salty protein is the easiest win; this is high-sodium without needing extra effort |
Vestibular migraine | Conditionally | Tomatoes can trigger some people; everything seasoning can be garlicky; adjust if sensitive |
Lupus | Mostly | High protein, minimal prep; for transplant context, choose pasteurized dairy and reputable deli meat |
Ingredients (1 plate)
1 large tomato, sliced into thick rounds
3 to 5 oz deli turkey (or cooked shredded turkey)
1/2 cup cottage cheese
Everything bagel seasoning
Fresh herbs (parsley or basil)
Black pepper (optional)
Steps
Slice the tomato into thick rounds and pat dry.
Layer turkey over each slice.
Spoon cottage cheese on top.
Sprinkle everything seasoning and add herbs.
