My Symptom check-in
POTS: I had dizziness when I stood up and my heart rate jumped fast. I wanted something salty and high-protein that would not sit heavy. I salted the chicken and the guac.
Vestibular migraine: No vestibular migraine symptoms today - no vertigo, no nausea, no light sensitivity.
Lupus: No lupus symptoms today - no joint pain or stiffness. I just wanted a quick meal.
Disorder safety check
Condition | Works? | Why |
POTS | Yes | Salt + protein + fat supports steadier energy and blood volume goals |
Vestibular migraine | Conditionally | Onion can trigger some people; guac is usually fine but keep it simple if you are sensitive |
Lupus | Yes | Whole-food, low processing; easy prep |
Ingredients (1 bowl)
1 to 1.5 cups shredded chicken (rotisserie works)
1/2 avocado, mashed (or 1/3 cup guacamole)
2 to 3 tbsp finely chopped red onion
Handful of cilantro, chopped
Salt and pepper
Optional add-ons (choose based on tolerance):
Lime (skip if migraine-triggering)
Greek yogurt or sour cream
Rice or tortilla chips if you need carbs
Steps
Add shredded chicken to a bowl.
Top with guac, red onion, and cilantro.
Salt aggressively if you are targeting POTS support. Add pepper if tolerated.
Eat as-is, or add rice/chips if you need a carb.
